A Hetic Week

This week has been a slight bit busier than most of my average weeks. Many things have been happening throughout the house and school life. I just thought that I'd tell you guys about some of the things that have happened.

Monday I woke up late, and by that I mean I woke up at the time I'd normally be leaving the house, my alarms did an amazing job that morning, not. Luckily my mom was feeling kind and offered to drive me to school, I managed to fit an hour and a bit morning routine into roughly twenty-odd minutes which I am pretty proud about. Even better I wasn't late to school, I arrived a minute before the bell went which is pretty decent if you ask me.

Tuesday I got up at the usual time so no rushing in the morning thankfully. School went normal as far as i can remember. However at home is a different story. My parents are re-decorating their room which means there is a mess everywhere and things are not where they should be which is driving me insane. The family is slightly stressed as we all just want it over and done with as quick as possible. On the positive side, the room is actually beginning to look really nice.

Wednesday was defiantly my busiest day. It begun with a much needed lie in over about an hour extra, this being as I had to go to the orthodontist. In the morning I had my Braces removed. After having them for over a year they are finally gone which is such a good feeling (I'll probably make a post about having braces in the near future) After that I then headed to the hospital to go get an x-ray on my root. The x-ray was for my foot as there was a slight chance I had had a broken toe for the past four weeks and there was a possibility that a fracture could have occurred further up the foot. Whoops. Once the x-ray was over we then headed back to the orthodontist to have pictures taken and to be given my retainer to make sure my teeth don't move back to how they were before. Around about an hour and a half later I went to my horse riding lesson, which to be fair is something I enjoy so I'm not really complaining about that. Then fast forward two hours I'm being picked up by a friend to go to volunteering for DofE.

Thursday wasn't too busy. My lessons were stressful as there is mocks coming up (which have already happened because I'm an idiot and writing this late sorry) After School was Duke of Edinburgh training where we learnt how to put up the tents which doesn't sound stressful but somehow it ended up extremely stressful.

Friday was a mufti-day. If you don't know what that is, it's a day at school where we don't have to wear the uncomfortable uniforms. Now this may sound nice but outfit planning was the worst and I had games so my sports kit had to be brought and all the effort of looking nice was ruined by unneeded competitiveness which I am guilty of.

So that was my busy weekday and I'm shattered to say the least.
Talk to you next time.
